Class IX and XI transfers

प्रवेश माहिती आणि पालक मार्गदर्शन

Prior-class, board, subject and timing rules make these applications different from elementary entry.

2026–27Availability awaiting school approval

CBSE transfer review

Prior class, board and timing all matter.

Class IX and XI are not treated like ordinary elementary entry. Previous study, recognition, programme availability and timing must be checked before an application is invited.

Class IX

Previous study

Class VIII must already be completed.

The previous institution must fit the applicable recognised-school or recognised-board route before Class IX admission can be reviewed.
Class XI

Previous qualification

Class X or recognised equivalent is required.

The subjects and programme actually available at SSKEMS still require confirmation before admission can be invited.
Timing

Late admission

After 31 August needs special attention.

The existing CBSE admission guidance requires prior permission from the competent authority in applicable late-admission cases, subject to the stated exceptions.

School confirmation

What SSKEMS still needs to check.

Meeting a general CBSE condition does not by itself establish that a place, subject combination or valid transfer route is available at SSKEMS.

01Previous institution

The school or board from which the student is moving must fit the applicable recognised route.

02Class eligibility

The completed previous class or equivalent qualification must match the entry being considered.

03Subjects and programme

For Class XI especially, the programme and subject combination actually offered by SSKEMS must be confirmed.

04Availability

A valid transfer route does not guarantee that a seat is available for the requested class or programme.

05Timing and authority

Late admission may require additional authority review before the school can proceed.

06Attendance feasibility

The timing of entry must still allow the applicable attendance and academic requirements to be met.

Transfer review journey

Check first. Apply only when the route is clear.

A short enquiry is safer than starting a formal application before the class, programme and transfer conditions have been reviewed.

01

Check previous class

Confirm the completed class or equivalent qualification relevant to the intended entry.

02

Make an enquiry

Tell SSKEMS the class, previous school or board and intended programme before preparing paperwork.

03

School reviews the route

Recognition, programme availability, timing and any authority requirements can then be checked.

04

Apply when invited

Move to formal application only after the relevant transfer pathway has been confirmed.

Controlled official source

Review the CBSE direct-admission guidance.

SSKEMS should apply the relevant official admission conditions together with the school's actual programme, availability and current transfer context.

Considering a Class IX or XI transfer?

Ask before starting the application.

Tell admissions the intended class, previous school or board and, for Class XI, the programme or subjects you are considering.
