प्रवेश माहिती आणि पालक मार्गदर्शन

A Maharashtra-specific route for age, previous-class eligibility, documents, availability and family support.

2026–27Availability awaiting school approval

Classes I to VIII

Start with the class. Then check the applicable rule.

Admissions through Class VIII must follow the applicable Maharashtra rules together with the student's previous class, available places and the school's verified admission process.

01

Age

Use the approved Maharashtra rule.

The exact date-of-birth cut-off should be published only after the applicable state record for the admission cycle has been verified.
02

Previous class

Age alone does not decide every entry.

For admission above the initial entry level, previous learning and the class already completed must also be reviewed.
03

School review

Availability and support still matter.

A family can first enquire about availability, language, learning support, transport and the appropriate next step.

Publication boundary

What the website can say now.

The site can explain the admission pathway without pretending that an unapproved age table or date range is already final.

Confirmed principleState-specific rules apply

Admissions through Class VIII are handled under the applicable State or Union Territory rules rather than a single generic CBSE age table.

Pending publicationExact Maharashtra cut-off

The admission-cycle-specific date, relaxation and source record should remain unpublished until they are approved.

Parent journey

Four steps before a formal application.

Keep the first interaction simple. Families should not need to prepare a full document set before knowing which admission route applies.

01

Choose the intended class

Start with the class the family is considering for the coming admission cycle.

02

Review age and previous class

The school can identify which state rule and previous-learning check applies.

03

Ask about availability

Confirm whether the requested class can currently be considered before preparing a formal application.

04

Prepare the correct documents

Once the route is clear, use the conditional document guidance for that child's actual admission context.

Family support

Orientation should help the child, not screen the family.

Early conversations can help the school understand communication, accessibility, learning, health and transport needs before admission progresses.

Language

Communication needs

Families can explain language or communication support that may help during school interaction.

Learning

Classroom support

Relevant learning support can be discussed so the school understands the child's needs appropriately.

Accessibility

Access requirements

Parents can raise mobility, accessibility or other practical requirements before a visit or admission step.

Routine

Transport and daily planning

Transport questions and practical school-day arrangements can be clarified before a formal application.

Official framework

CBSE directs Classes I to VIII to the applicable State rules.

SSKEMS therefore should not present a permanent generic CBSE age table for these classes. The applicable Maharashtra record should be verified for the relevant admission cycle.
